We go to an independent local pharmacy for our prescriptions. It's been in business about 20 years. The owner was a pharmacist at a couple of local pharmacies before starting his own store.
It's in a really busy location, and this location is going to grow even busier due to some new businesses that are coming in the next year or two.
This pharmacy is really busy all the time. I've never been there when it wasn't busy.
But they can't stay in business. They're not making enough money. The owner sold out to a local grocery store that has pharmacies in the store.
There's something wrong with a system when a provider who is busy and has plenty of customers still can't make ends meet. Somehow, I don't think Obamacare will fix it.
